Appointment of Accompanist
Ryton Choral Society is seeking an accomplished accompanist to work with our choir. We are a small but high-quality ensemble (SATB), singing mainly classical choral repertoire and performing approximately three concerts each year.
Rehearsals take place weekly during term-time on Tuesday evenings in Crawcrook.
We are looking for someone with:
· Excellent piano skills
· Experience of accompanying similar groups and with knowledge of the repertoire
· Knowledge and experience of choral singing with the ability to lead sectional rehearsals when required
· A collaborative and positive approach, to help bring out the best in a capable choir

The selection process will take place during our spring term rehearsals, with the aim of making an appointment before our next concert in May 2026.
